VISIT AT BEBALI DYE GARDEN
Although this garden is now situated only about half an hour's drive out of Ubud, it is not so easy to find and not many people know about it in the village. Also the sign advising the location down a narrow lane is obscured and faded, so if you plan a visit bear this is mind, but it is certainly worth it.
The garden features a studio where dye trials and workshops take place. There seems to be no formal way of making bookings as single visitor, so it is a matter of luck if English speaking staff is available to explain the garden. I had a quick chat to a staff member before she had to go on a field trip.
But the signage is very good and these are most of the plants and explanations you will find.
